Did not really explain much. I assumed that he would use the machine to locate injection spot but did not. He just felt to find spot. Should have given some warning before injection. Most painful thing I have felt in a while. Pain is no better maybe worse.
Very nice and helpful! Campbell Clinic is so good about timing of appointments, as well, and the staff is terrific! You need more stars!!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰

The shot was extremely helpful
He has great bedside manner. What I’m trying to say, is that when I first came in I was a nightmare of a patient, sadly! I just injured myself bad, fearing the absolute worst, anxiety setting in, coupled with the pain was a lot. Unfortunately, it turned me into a person I would naturally detest. Thankfully Dr. Gilbert actually listened to all my concerns & probably stupid questions. He did it without making me feel inferior or stupid. By doing so and calmly talking to me he helped relieve my anxiety which honestly helped me trust that I was at the right place and he was going to make sure I get through this and back doing the activities I love. A lot of professions not just doctors could learn something from doctor Gilbert. Listening, answering people’s questions & concerns while laying out a plan to get me back on my feet was exactly what I needed. So guess I’m lucky he was my doctor. Not sure anyone else would’ve actually put up with me first & calmly explain what I had to do to.
