Matthew DiLizia, M.D.

Dr. Matthew DiLizia, M.D., is a board-certified urologist specializing in general urology, robotic surgery, and minimally invasive treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). He provides comprehensive medical and surgical management for an array of genitourinary conditions, incorporating advanced technological modalities to optimize patient outcomes.

Dr. DiLizia completed his undergraduate education at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. He went on to earn his Medical Degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. Following his medical education, he completed his urology residency at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. During his residency, he received the 2023 Dr. Jordan Luskin Clinic Award from the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital Department of Urology and was named a finalist for the 2023 String of Pearls Resident Teaching Award at the Georgetown University School of Medicine.

Dr. DiLizia is board-certified by the American Board of Urology. He maintains active professional memberships in the American Urological Association, the Mid-Atlantic Section of the American Urological Association, and the Catholic Medical Association to continually align his practice with current urological care guidelines.

His clinical practice focuses on general urological care, with an emphasis on utilizing robotic surgery for complex interventions and treating kidney stone disease.
