I’ve been seeing Dr. DeOrio for years on and off. He’s always been extremely kind, respectful, knowledgeable, and takes time to explain everything. I’ll continue to use and recommend him for as long as he’s practicing. Great office/ facilities, and sweet staff!

Dr. Deorio saw me yesterday for a complex issue in both of my feet. There was no good news forthcoming, but he spent a lot of time with me, patiently explaining the difficulty of my condition. His understanding of my problem and his honest recommendation ( don’t get surgery) was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend him.

He must over book’s appointments. I waited 1hr & 20 minutes past my appointment time. It’s like that every time I go! He is a good doctor but no one likes to just wait because he over books.

Dr. DeOrio did not provide instructions on how to take care of the incision. Consultations have been always a rush. Patient felt they did not receive their fate share of time during the visit. It has not been a good experience for the patient.

I was in so much pain and could hardly walk he repaired my achilles tendon and four months later i am already walking without pain and just cannot say enough about the total experience. Very well pleased with everything concerning my surgery, my care afterwards, the physical therapy folks-CJ, Brenda, Rene, Marc have just taken such good care of me.

I did not get to see Dr. Deorio. I saw his PA. After waiting for 1 1/2 past my appt. I would have preferred to see a MD. If I had of known I was not going to be seeing a Dr. I would have never came back for a follow up appt. and I would not have waited for as long as I did either.

I never even saw him! Just a nurse who didn’t even look at my X-rays. Just gave me orthotics and said to go to physical therapy. My issue is in-depth but I felt like it was just ‘hurry up to the next person”. So he may be a great doctor-but after waiting an hour after my scheduled appointment and to not even see him is very disappointing, frustrating, and makes me angry because MY FEET HURT. Stretching alone isn’t going to solve it because I’ve had foot issues for 15 years.

Sure don't care if your in pain or not.... just ratchet that foot on higher to the ceiling ...itll ease the pain. I understand theirs laws and limits on controlled, but good grief, everyone cant lay in bed for 16 weeks with their foot propped up to the point your staff insists on. Some people have to fabricate their life to make it sound like they have all this time to just lay around in bed for the ridiculous amount of weeks I've been given the answer for. not addict, just a patient pain , been in pain since first surgery August 29th. its always my fault of course --- do you blame them??? actually had the right foot done a couple weeks ago and it doesn't even feel like nothings been done to it before, and was also done completely differrently and way less painful, about 75% less.

Wasn’t taken back until 1:45. My post surgical follow up appointment was for 12:30. Doctor was only in the room for maybe five minutes and forgot to check my second surgical site until I asked how he thought it looked. I realize he is busy, but I almost felt ignored

Dr. DeOrio is exceptional. He did surgery on my left Achilles heel in 2009 and HE FIXED IT!!! I had a similar surgery the year before but it was not enough. I trust him with my next one. I must have some relief from this pain!!! I am counting the days to surgery….

Aside from having to wait, Dr. Deorio and his CRNP, Ashley, were efficient and helpful.

Dr. DeOrio presented a brash bedside manner clearly letting me know I was taking up his time with a procedure which in the realm of his surgical skills were minor. I was having Hammmer/Mallet Toe Correction, both feet. He spent all of five minutes telling me what the procedure entailed, not telling the truth about full recovery time, six weeks, (after it became 1yr)or how excruciating it would. Even though this surgery involves nerve endings he only prescribed Oxcycodone Acetaminophen. At my two week follow-up his Nurse Practioner correctly prescribed Gabapentin. I was not scheduled to meet with her for prep beforehand. I was berated on surgery day when I wanted to discuss my reservations. When I spoke with him PRIVATELY afterwards about this treatment and why he did not refer me to a Dermatologist, saying the only thing he could do for the painful issues with my toenails was to remove them, he lied saying he did. His 98% approval rate tells me other issues are at play here.

Dr. DeOrio has prescribed a pressure boot for me that should never have been provided for a senior citizen with a deformed foot and sever arthritis, and vasculitis.

Doesn’t sugarcoat… tells you exactly the way it is.. very thorough… caring…understanding… EXCELLENT Doctor/Surgeon

Haven't seen him in person since before my surgery in January. Had my last recheck today and didn't see him then either.

He always finds my problem when no one else can

Dr DeOrio is a very talented orthopedic physician. I am very pleased and thankful for his abilities as a physician and surgeon. He takes time to explain and answer all questions Even though recovery was lengthy, my foot pain has been relieved. His support staff is awesome! He has a great team.

Dr. DeOrio takes time to explain what he sees and options for treatment in a way that is easy to understand.

I love Dr. DeOrio, he takes time to listen to you and to decide what is best for your ankle. My ankle is doing so much better since he took over care of it.

He did a great TAR surgery. No real pain after three days. Was able to remove my cast and put some weight on ankle with boot after five weeks.

I believe DeOrio is a good surgeon although I'm only a month post op and have a ways to go in my recovery. I put three stars because they did not prepare me for the pain or the extent of the recovery. It would have made all the difference to have been prepared for being flat on my back for two weeks after foot surgery.

Dr. DeOrio rebuilt my foot/ankle 4 years ago. Extremely complicated as I have deformed ankles. I will be having my other foot done very soon. Exact same surgery. I’m so thankful for such a talented, excellent surgeon. No one wants to have surgery but I will be so excited to have both feet corrected. I have had no issues at all with the foot that was done already. The TOC provides excellent care for their patients.

I'm sure Dr. DeOrio is a fantastic doctor and surgeon, or my General Physician would not have referred me to him. However, Dr. DeOrio seemed quite rushed during our visit, and I feel like we definitely missed some things due to his hastiness. Other than that, Dr. DeOrio has a great understanding of his specialty, and I would say he's a fine physician.

Waited for over an hour, then took another hour to get paperwork for ortho. Doctor was ok, but they need to get better at scheduling.

Dr. Matthew DeOrio and his team took excellent care of my grandson who suffered trauma to his ankle. They wheelchaired him into and out of the office. Dr. DeOrio explained his injury and the steps he was taking to treat my grandson to me over the phone and took away the stress of not knowing the status of his injury. Convenient office layout. I was checked in, then had x-rays, then met with the doc. All within about 50 feet. Great setup for people with bad feet.

Dr. DeOrio is a wonderful doctor, but the wait time is always long. My last appointment, I did not see him until 1 hour 15 minutes past my appointment time--there have been times that I had to wait 2 hours. If he is that busy, maybe he needs to cut back on the number of patients he tries to see.

I did not see Dr DeOrio but the PA that works for him and I was not impressed by her. It was obvious she had not read the new patient information TOC had on me for if she had she would not have asked why I was on O2.

We visited our local Bone and Joint after xrays ,MRI and 3 weeks of PT still had no answers. Accident occurred March 20. On May 26 visited Dr. D had problem solved in less than 30 min. Found bone fragment wedged in between her top foot bones. Prob solved

My first visit to TOC and Dr. DeOrio. It was a long wait, which the nurse apologized for. Everyone of the staff and Dr were polite. The exam was thorough and informative. Highly recommend Dr DeOrio and the staff.

The doc seems competent but he is rushed and has little time to discuss health concerns. He is almost dismissive. His NP has adopted this same dismissive bedside manner. Overall not a good experience although I know my ankle will improve after his surgery.

Dr Mathew DeOrio is an excellent doctor and surgeon. He worked with me for a year trying to rehabilitate an ankle that was damaged severely that I previously had a bros trom reconstruction on in 1991. He just performed an Arthrex surgery to reconstruct and stabilize to chronically torn tendons. He removed damaged bone and cleaned up damaged cartridge. I’m in my 3rd week after surgery and it is starting to heal inside. Thank you Dr. DeOrio and staff for taking such good care of me
