Dr. Matt Heavner M.D., attended medical school at the Wake Forest School of Medicine. He then completed his general surgery internship and urologic surgery residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. There, he had extensive training in various techniques in urologic surgery, from open abdominal surgery to minimally invasive techniques including robotic and endoscopic approaches to the management of urologic conditions.

Dr Heavner has given me much guidance as I come off active surveillance and begin RT on May 20. He has always been responsive to my questions and recommendations and I am glad that he will continue to navigate all future urologic issues.
