Dr. Mary Jo McDonell, M.D., is a board-certified pediatrician with decades of experience providing comprehensive care to children and adolescents. She earned her medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Medicine, and completed her pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.
Before relocating to North Carolina in 2016, Dr. McDonell practiced in Niagara Falls, NY, where she provided full-spectrum pediatric care—from newborn to young adult—across both outpatient and inpatient settings. She worked closely with the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, maintaining continuity of care for high-risk newborns and children with complex medical needs.
Since moving to North Carolina, Dr. McDonell has enjoyed the warmth of the southern climate and community. Outside of her practice, she spends time with her family and enjoys the company of their dogs, cat, and horses.
