I've been seeing him for years starting with tunes in my son's ears and a tonsillectomy for me years later. He keeps good track of my acid reflux issues and anything else that comes up. I hope he never retires!

Dr. Mark S. Walton, M.D. graduated magna cum laude in 1981, with a Bachelor degree in chemistry from Creighton University, in Omaha, Nebraska. Following residency, Dr, Walton was transferred to Bremerton, Washington, where he was assigned as a Staff Surgeon to the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. He subsequently became Department Head, where he served until leaving active duty in September of 1994. During that time, he held teaching appointments at Naval Hospital Bremerton, Washington and Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington.
Dr. Walton is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and licensed by the Kansas and Missouri State Boards of Healing Arts. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
In 1994 Dr. Walton joined Dr. Thompson to begin private practice. He has a wealth of practical and surgical experience both pediatric and adult ear, nose and throat disorders. Dr. Walton also excels at various head and neck surgeries including specialized cancer cases. He has authored many articles and presentations on all aspects of Otolaryngology. Dr. Walton and his wife Mary Ellen, have three daughters and one son.
