Dr. Simon was born in Los Angeles, CA., and was raised in the Bronx, NYC. He attended the prestigious Bronx High School of Science. He earned his BA in Biological Sciences at Lehman College of the City University of NY in 1974. He spent over a year in the PhD program in Physiology at New York Medical College and a year in a research lab at NYU Medical Center.

Dr. Mark Simon, M.D. has been caring for patients for 33 years, the last 24 as a founding member of the MSPB Cardiology family.
Dr. Simon was born in Los Angeles, CA., and was raised in the Bronx, NYC. He attended the prestigious Bronx High School of Science. He earned his BA in Biological Sciences at Lehman College of the City University of NY in 1974. He spent over a year in the PhD program in Physiology at New York Medical College and a year in a research lab at NYU Medical Center. He then decided to go to medical school, graduating from Ross University School of Medicine in 1981.
Dr. Simon completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiology Fellowship in 1986 at Norwalk Hospital, an affiliate of the Yale university School of Medicine. He started his career in the practice of Cardiology in East Stroudsburg Pennsylvania at the Medical Associates of Monroe County but later moved to Palm Beach County in 1989.
Dr. Simon enjoys spending time with his family, as well as sports, films, music, and scientific literature.
