He completed his Electrophysiology Fellowship at Northwestern University, Chicago, IL, and Clinical Cardiology Fellowship and Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Indiana University. Prior to this, he received his Internal Medicine Residency through the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Shen joined Cardiovascular Medicine in February 2023.

Dr. Shen is Board Certified in Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Diseases, Internal Medicine, and Echocardiography. He is licensed in both Iowa and Illinois and is available for outpatient consultation and follow-up visits at the Moline, Davenport, and Bettendorf locations. Dr. Shen has staff privileges at Genesis Medical Center and UnityPoint Health Trinity.
