Dr. Mark J. Shen, M.D., FHRS, is a board-certified Cardiac Electrophysiologist and Cardiologist, specializing in treating patients with heart rhythm disorders. He is passionate about bringing the latest advanced technology and clinical trials here for patients in need. He oversees clinical trials involving pharmacological, device, and technological therapy for patients with heart rhythm disorders. He has authored dozens of peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters and won prestigious awards such as the Heart Rhythm Society Fellowship in Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology.
Dr. Shen is Board Certified in Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Diseases, Internal Medicine, and Echocardiography. He is licensed in both Iowa and Illinois and is available for outpatient consultation and follow-up visits at the Moline, Davenport, and Bettendorf locations. Dr. Shen has staff privileges at Genesis Medical Center and UnityPoint Health Trinity.
Dr. Shen is a member of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society. Besides work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys.
