He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at New York University Medical Center - NYU Medical School after a general surgery internship. Dr. Rekant fulfilled his specialty training with a Hand and Upper Extremity Surgical Fellowship with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

No mention of my left hand which I was being seen for as well as my right hand Staff and Dr are great but sad to leave with the brace I was hoping for They had No way of knowing how long since my last appointment which made leaving with a brace for my hand impossible without getting charged
