Mark S. Lyell, M.D.

Dr. Mark S. Lyell, M.D. is a skilled and well-respected urologist that has practiced on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for 30 years. He cares for a wide range of urological conditions but has a special interest in robotic and minimally invasive surgery including the Urolift procedure for prostate problems.

Dr. Lyell received his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the Murray State University. He attended the University of Louisville where he received his Doctor of Medicine. Her performed his internship and residency in General Surgery at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. He did his Urology training at Oklahoma University where he served as Chief Resident in his final year.

The American Board of Urology has certified Dr. Lyell. He is affiliated with several other medical organizations including the American Urological Association, Southeastern Section of the American Urological Association, Mississippi State Medical Association, and the Singing River Medical Society. Dr. Lyell is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Lyell has privileges at Singing River Hospital, Ocean Springs and Pascagoula, Merit Health Biloxi, Mississippi Coast Endoscopy and Ambulatory Surgery Center, and Ocean Springs Surgery and Endoscopy Center. When he is not working, Dr. Lyell enjoys spending time with his wife, an artist, and visiting his children.
