Dr. Hedrick was professional and knowledgeable. However, he wasn’t sympathetic or kind at all. He said (about my arthritis) “life isn’t fair” and said there there wasn’t much I (or he) could do about it.
Made me feel life crying.

Dr. Hedrick gave me a “new foot” two years ago when he straightened all my toes & fixed my painful bunion. Today’s visit was beneficial without having to face another surgery in my mid-80s. After looking at my X-Rays, he gave me several alternatives for my flat foot, including the type of shoes that would help, as well as over-the-counter topical gel and Tylenol. I appreciate his skills and advice so much.

Dr Hedrick operated on my ankle in 2010, he said he didn’t do my surgery because he never used the type of hardware in my ankle. He did do my surgery and w/assistance from the nurse realized He did do my surgery in3010.

Dr Hedrick is excellent. He spent a lot of time explaining things to me, never rushed me and was very pleasant as was his staff. Highly recommend Dr Hedrick and Emerge Ortho!

Dr Hedrick's PA, Alyssa, was fantastic.
Dr Hedrick's meeting with me was brief, maybe 4 minutes. I'm pretty sure he didn't even touch my leg despite being about 2 weeks post-op (operation done by a different doctor). He spent most of the time talking to my husband instead of me. When we questioned his timeline as compared to that of my surgeon, he replied that he's "been doing this for 30 years."
I didn't get the opportunity to discuss my medications, wasn't told about icing, or given specific instructions on elevating.
I'm hoping I caught him at the end of an off day.
