I've learned more about medicine in the last 10+years than I'd ever cared to know in my entire lifetime but specifically when it comes to doctors - treatments - procedures, medications - tests., etc. and I found him to be a man of integrity. I was not rushed (another anomaly) and he voluntarily explained everything even though I didn't ask per se as I had been through this procedure previously! In fact I saw him solely because my previous surgery was a colossal failure and therefore I am hoping a man of his expertise and stellar reputation will be able to correct all that is wrong! Dr Pizzurro performed knee replacement surgery on my left knee 3 years ago. Before that time, I wasn't sure I would ever be able to play golf again. The surgery went as well as could be expected, and my outcome very successful due to his care and my commitment to the rehab. He showed me the compassion and patience that I needed to lead me through the entire process. I'm very grateful to him as my quality of life has obviously improved significantly.

Did not see Dr. Pizzuro, only his PA. I was told I couldn’t have another gel injection until September, so why was I there? She gave me an injection of Cortisone which was extremely painful

I had a hip replacement with Dr. Pizzurro. The preop, surgery & postop all went very well. No complaints. My recovery was faster than I imagined. Dr. Pizzurro was personable & my experience indicated he is an excellent hip surgeon. I would have given him 5 stars, except I felt like didn't have enough contact with him. I had 1 preop appt with him that lasted about 15 minutes. Dr P came to see me in the hospital before surgery for about 5 min & I think afterwards too. I also saw him for my 2nd postop appt for a very short time. I realize he's busy & has competent staff to meet with his patients to perform routine tasks. I just felt like I didn't have a real sense of him before my surgery & yet I had to put my trust in him for something quite important.

Dr. Pizzurro performed Hip Replacement on me. My hip is great, absolutely no pain and I can hike again. Do quite a bit of it again and I am very grateful. Would strongly recommend.
