Dr. Maehrer is kind and compassionate. While I have issues with my feet that I do not believe are going to be fixed any time soon (severe arthritis), he explains everything in great detail. He remembers details about you, which only bolster your confidence that he is listening. He is also not your typical "cut it all" type surgeon. If that is not going to change things or possibly make them worse? He will not operate. Incredible physician. Highly recommend.

Some things just are what they are, and he knew that I did not want my feet ripped up and put back together. Addressed my biggest concern RIGHT now, and I appreciated his conservative attitude! NOT a surgeon looking to cut everything he can. Nice bedside manner, and assuring attitude. Recommended to me by another OAA awesome surgeon, Dr. Falatyn. Very pleased with my visit despite knowledge that I have some lousy feet!! Surgery scheduled, and optimistic one issue will be resolved by Dr. Maehrer.
