Dr. Mark Leber is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who has been coaching patients through their treatment, therapy and recovery processes for nearly 20 years. His passion for educating patients and helping them return to function led him toward the field of orthopedics, where he ultimately gravitated toward the meticulous specialty of hand, wrist and elbow surgery. Dr. Leber relishes the challenge of helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes and treats each patient with exceptional compassion and care. He believes in taking a conservative, evidence-based approach and thoroughly explores both operative and non-operative treatment plans. Dr. Leber obtained his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and later completed a residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, where he was trained and mentored under hand surgeon Dr. Fred Meyer. He later honed his surgical expertise by completing a fellowship with Indiana Hand Center. Dr. Leber is board certified in both Orthopedic Surgery as well as Surgery of the Hand.

Dr Leber is thorough in his evaluation and is personable and accommodating.
I tried doing a virtual appointment. I couldn’t get the virtual appointment to work and Dr. Leber called me and discussed my EMG test results and explained my options for future surgery. He was very understanding, answered all questions and health concerns. I did find out that he doesn’t do hand surgery at the Banner Gateway Surgery Center in Gilbert, Az where one of the OrthoArizona office is located.
First time to the office to see Dr Leber. Very knowledgeable and compassionate. Gave me options without pressure to do one over the other. Grateful to have a fantastic Ortho doctor and staff to work with.
Thank you for your expertise; listening; being honest; and trying yet again to help me push through with workman’s comp. I value OrthoArizona because of you.
