Dr. Jo maintains a conservative approach to all orthopedic injuries and pathologies. Physical therapy, medications, injections including PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and hyaluronic acid (aka gel injections) as well as minimally invasive surgeries are all exhausted before surgery is considered.
After earning his bachelor's degree at Cornell University, Dr. Jo earned his medical degree at UCLA School of Medicine followed by a surgery internship and an orthopedic residency at New York Medical College and a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at Washington University in St. Louis. He has authored numerous articles and book chapters and continues to give lectures to teach residents and other physicians.
Dr. Jo prides himself in offering tailored customized care options for all orthopedic injuries and conditions based on the individual patients’ needs and goals. He is honored to be providing care to the surrounding community and assist patients in recovering and achieving their goals.
