Dr Jacobson stated my MRI didn’t indicate why I would be having the pain I was experiencing because it said the bulging disc only said ‘abutted’ not ‘impinging’. I felt like he thought I was faking the pain I was having. The gabapentin I was prescribed was masking much of it. I couldn’t win with this doctor. I had high hopes, but was seriously disappointed.

Felt rushed. He didn’t hear to everything I had to say as he cut me off multiple times and disregarded some of the comments eventhough they were completely relevant according to me which made me want me to leave midway.
He did do the preliminary tests before ordering MRI but overall, I did not feel like I was taken care of properly.

I have worked with doctors and surgeons for years. Dr. Jacobson is very kind while also being direct about the seriousness of my situation. I was very impressed with the fact that he said he would be discussing my case with his colleagues to ensure the correct approach to my care. Humility is something not often seen in a surgeon of his caliber. He took time to answer questions and did not sugarcoat anything. Respect!

Knowledgeable, professional, honest and caring. Great bedside manner. His NP was phenomenal as well. In and out with X-rays for a new patient visit in 45 minutes. Would recommend to anyone!

Dr Jacobson communicated my surgery results in a manner for me to go forward with. My back surgery went without a hitch!
