Proud to be from Philly, Dr. Hepp was born and raised in Philadelphia. Graduating with phi beta kappa honors from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, Dr. Hepp received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his internship and residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and his cardiology fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center, both in Philadelphia.
Dr. Hepp joined Clearwater Cardiovascular Consultants in July 1995 with specialization in non-invasive cardiology, including echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. A fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Hepp is board certified in cardiovascular disease and is also an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida College of Medicine.
Dr. Hepp held several leadership positions at Morton Plant and Mease Hospitals over the years. He served as vice chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine 2004-2005 and was a member of the Credentials Committee for several years.
Dr. Hepp was President of the Children’s Heart Foundation, Florida Chapter, where he was instrumental in raising awareness and funds for congenital heart defect research.
Dr. Hepp is available to see patients at the Countryside office.

Dr Hepp is always thorough. The staff at Clearwater Cardiovascular Consultants is always very professional. Definitely recommend this Dr and team.
Longstanding physician who has monitored and treated my condition over many years in a professional and caring manner. I fell very comfortable in putting my cardiac health in his hands.
I had my first visit today, Dr Hepp was on time, kind while still direct. It was obviously that he had read my file prior to entering the room and was familiar with my medical history. I left understanding his instructions and what our course would be for testing and potential future treatments might include.

Dr Hepp is phenomenal! He is a total professional yet he's able to relate to his patients in a way that most doctors don't. He's informative, caring, and thorough. The only doctor i see that relates and involves in his patients on their level. It's always a pleasure to see Dr Hepp as he " tells it like it is" so the patient can understand....just the best!!!!
