Mark Galland, M.D.

I saw another Dr for my knee. He told me I needed a knee replacement right away. Dr Galland was truthful. He doesn’t do replacements on the kind of knee issues I have. Fixed me up with a cortisone shot and refitted my brace. He may be a God.

Seen quickly. Condition explained thoroughly and treatment worked.

This was my first visit for shoulder pain. Dr Galland was personable and explained his observations and plan. The office seemed organized with an easy way to make an appointment.

Dr, Galland was tasked with repairing the rotator cuff. I’ve never experienced any surgery in my life. He did such a great job, when I went to my first PT appointment, the therapist was see with my range of motion. Said that “This range of motion isn’t seen until, at least, a month into therapy.” I don’t have extraordinary healing ability, so I HAVE to attribute it to Dr. Galland’s experience and expertise! Great job, Doc!!!

Dr. Galland has worked on both of my shoulders. The one he did last year (right side) feels the best it ever has, and I have every reason to think the left side will go the same way. First time seeing Dr Galland. I have a frozen shoulder. He highly recommended a steroid injection. I have a true phobia of needles. I told him I was doing physical therapy. He was so patient with me and knew exactly how to deal with my anxiety. He convinced me to accept the injection. He took his time, numbed my shoulder with some gel prior to the injection, and I have to say it was not nearly as bad as I thought. Bottom line…he took his time with me! Which I’m sure he does with all his patients!

I had my first appointment today with Dr.Galland and was pleasantly surprised with how great his bedside manner was. He listened to my concerns, did my evaluation, and took the time to explain everything to my husband and I.

All surgeons should take the time to review visible MRI results with all patients before even scheduling surgery. Looking forward to a better, more informed patient update on the procedure and showing what the MRI results show. This needs to be part of the process going forward.

Dr. Gallands was so good at explaining my tendon tear in my shoulder and walking me through the process of surgery and healing after rotator cuff surgery.

Left shoulder still hurting. Worst than before the shot I just received. Need follow up.
