My visit with the Dr was as always great, But for some reason the follow up for the Testing has been not as professional. I cannot get a call thru and when I do I get no return call.. The insurance company called the very next day and gave approval for whatever necessary.. I’m sure things are different now, the world is different, I’m just disappointed In the delay.. Didn’t ask about previous, extensive history of sinus and ear infections, told me that my fever and severe headaches and sinus congestion were migraines, suggested that I contact a MIGRAINE SPECIALIST. Said there was zero chance my previous infection (2.5 weeks ago) could have not been eliminated by augmentin, without even considering or asking about how frequently I have been on it. 4 days later and I have a fever again, colored discharge, still cannot sleep at night, and horrible congestion. I sought out, came to, and paid for a specialist who blew me off and told me my symptoms were literally in my head. Only possibility he would consider was an acoustic neuroma, besides migraines. Migraine prognosis is a very “kind” yet insulting way of brushing someone off.
