Dr. Farmer was able to answer all my questions in a professional manner. He spent all the time needed to help me determine which way to go with my arthritic knee. He is one of very few Orthopedic surgeons in Florida to a less invasive quad sparing surgery called Jiffy Knee. Jim

I've never felt so horrible after an appt. Went in for severe shoulder pain & limited range of movement in shoulder. This man proceeded to berate me about my weight the entire visit. He took 2-3mins to have me move my arms and shoulders all the time talking at me about my weight. Then wanted to give me a shot, without telling me what it was or why.. I refused because I have a needle phobia and was already upset due to the way the visit had gone. No way I could calm down enough for a shot. He told me he'd refer me to PT and to come back in few weeks. I tried to ask a question and got a snippy short vague non-answer. So I left, not really knowing exactly what was wrong with me or what the actual plan was to get better.
I delete review requests normally, but I couldn't with this one. I feel the need to warn others... beware of this guy if you've got any kind of weight issue.
