Dr. Mark Cone, M.D., has been a partner with OBGYN Medical Center Associates since 1993 and currently holds the position of President of its executive board. Dr. Cone is a graduate of Klein High School, Texas A&M University, and Baylor College of Medicine. He did his residency training at Baylor College of Medicine and has worked in the Texas Medical Center since 1980. Dr. Cone was a CREOG award recipient during his training, representing the highest score on the American College of OB-Gyn Written Board Exams in his residency class. He is currently on staff at the Woman’s Hospital of Texas and St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital. He is a clinical instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Cone practices both obstetrics and gynecology. His training and practice experience include general obstetrics, high-risk obstetrics, twins, gynecologic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and infertility. Dr. Mark Cone serves as the Market President of Privia Medical Group – Gulf Coast, Texas. Currently, Dr. Cone remains President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Southwest Women’s Health Alliance, where he developed and implemented a corporate structure that maximizes practices’ autonomy and profitability. Dr. Cone also spearheaded the development and implementation of a first-of-its-kind value-based care program in women’s health for several major payers.
