Dr Frankle did an amazing job doing my reverse shoulder . I had a HEMI ( half shoulder ) done in 2013, and didn’t know that those only last 5 years. The appliance had started to loosen after 9 years and no other Dr would touch it at the time. Two surgeons actually recommended Dr Frankle in 2019, but I had to wait due to another surgery. In 2022 on May 23, Dr Frankle reversed my shoulder and I’m back to being able to function with the majority of the activities I would like to do. I have a nerve issue in my neck that is not related to the surgery itself but the nerve block the anesthesiologist gave me. My neck was already a mess, so the injection affected my Brachial plexus, and that was my biggest challenge as far as pain goes. My advice would be to look at other ways to block pain if neck issues are already present. As far as choosing the right Dr for a reverse shoulder replacement - Dr Frankle is the absolute best !

Saw Dr Frankle's PA today which was fine because it was a yearly follow-up for my left shoulder.

2 year follow up for rt. shoulder. Saw Dr. Frankle and a Fellow. Both were extremely cordial and informative and didn’t feel the least bit rushed.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Frankle since 2010. Back then it was first for management of left shoulder pain, then eventually a total replacement of that shoulder in early 2012. I liked many things about Dr Frankle and among them was insistence of not rushing to surgery. My left shoulder was and still is a great success. I’m a very active and physical individual and was able to return to my full life activities as soon as the surgery healed. Now, 11 years later, he will be replacing my right shoulder. Can’t imagine a shoulder surgeon better than Dr. Frankle. My shoulder replacement (2015)went flawlessly and my recovery was relatively pain free! Couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. My wife recently saw Dr Frankle for a shoulder problem as diagnosed by two other Doctors. After a rigorous physical exam and some “critical outside the box thinking”, Dr Frankle concluded that her problem had nothing to do with her shoulder. Brilliant! Dr Frankle

Dr Frankle is by far the best shoulder surgeon in Florida - maybe in the nation ? When it comes to reverse shoulder surgery he has all the knowledge and competence any Dr can have! Dr Frankle just needs to prescribe physical therapy afterwards - which he did ! I just had to convince him it was the right move for me. He listens very carefully to his patients and makes time to answer all your questions. The only regret I have is starting physical therapy so late. I also have a nerve issue from the epidural that is ongoing but it happens very rarely. I already had a neck issue so talk to your anesthesiologist about whether or not you have other options . I would absolutely use Dr Frankle as my surgeon again ! A master in his field !

I have complete faith in Dr. Frankle. I had a reverse right shoulder replacement with Dr. Frankle about 7 years ago. It was a difficult surgery and turned out great. I would recommend him to anyone. My husband also had a right shoulder replacement with Dr. Frankle. We are his biggest fans.

I began seeing Dr. Frankle in the 1990's when I fractured both elbows. One elbow needed surgery. Over the years I needed surgery again for my elbow due to another fall.. Once again, Dr. Frankle operated and repaired it. I now live in Daytona Beach, but will gladly return to see Dr. Frankle for any future injuries to my arms or elbows!

Dr. Frankel's demeanor was not only professional but very personable. My concerns were addressed fully. The patients in his waiting room praised his work emphatically. They stated they would choose him over any other surgeon. I was impressed to say the least.

Dr. Frankle explains everything verbaly and with xrays to include a visual understanding of ones visit. I never felt rushed at any point of the visit.

Dr. Frankle spent time with me explaining that my shoulder/arm/hand pain is not due to shoulder pathology despite my MRA definitely giving that impression. Plus, I had symptoms of each muscle/tendon on that MRA that was painful. Yet, I knew I had normal ROM and strength which caused much anxiety with frequent interruptions. Dr. Frankle settled my mind that my shoulder was fine and that I should check with Neurology for the burning, radiating symptoms possibly coming from the cervical region. I didn't get to mention I had a picture of the trigger point referral pattern exactly matching my description of the subscapularis pain which I still believe I have from my injury 8/19. He is a true expert. Thank You, Dr. Frankle!

I’m being asked to come back after shoulder surgery three months, six months a year and not seeing the doctor that did the surgery but an assistant. Paying full price for the doctor and pain for x-rays. I travel a long ways to get there and I don’t get to see the doctor.

I actually did not see the doctor today but rather saw the PA. He was very helpful even though he was not able to provide treatment because of an upcoming potential surgery. Cortizone injection would have been contraindicated and he was very patient and explaining such.

I scheduled with a Dr. Frankle and was pawned off to his resident and never got to see the specialist. It is medical bait and switch ---- I chose a top notch specialists and never got to see him. I was not impressed with resident and I got billed as if I saw a specialist. This is not the first time FOI has done this; last time, I saw an LPN instead. I will start looking for independent orthopedists instead of FOI.

I didn't see Dr. Frankle, I saw an associate. It seems to be the routine. You don't see the Dr. you see an associate. But Dr. Frankle gets high marks for the rare times I have seen him.

Seemed very knowledgeable but it was confusing as to whether I would benefit from getting my joint replaced or not. I came to the doctor for advice to see if this would be the right thing for me to do, and I left there still not knowing what to do

Dr. Frankle is great. BUT I did not see him today. The physician I saw was probably quite good. However, I was disappointed that he never told me what he might have thought is causing my pain and stiffness. Also, I woman passed out in the waiting room. Another patient and I did what we could to help her while we waited for medical help, which, in my opinion, was way too slow in arriving. Ward Meythaler 4/13/22
