Maria Marchenko, M.D.

Dr. Maria Marchenko, M.D., is a board-certified pediatrician at Sidney Health Center, where she provides expert care for infants, children, and adolescents at the Pediatric Clinic. With nearly 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Marchenko is dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare that supports the growth and development of her patients from birth through early adulthood.

Dr. Marchenko earned her medical degree magna cum laude from Russian State Medical University in Moscow. She completed her pediatric residency at Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York City and further specialized through pediatric critical care fellowships at the Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo and Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Her extensive background in both community health and critical care medicine allows her to manage a wide range of pediatric needs with precision and compassion.

Dr. Marchenko joined the Sidney medical staff in December 2025 and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. She is committed to strengthening local access to pediatric services and ensuring families in the MonDak region receive exceptional care close to home.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Marchenko values building strong relationships with the families she serves, believing that a supportive and informed environment is essential for a child's long-term health.
