Dr. Magnussen explained the nerve test process and he made sure I felt comfortable with the process before beginning. I struggled some with nausea and he was calm, patient and kind which was what I needed. I was nor to finish the test l. He has an excellent bedside manner

Dr. Magnussen cares about how you’re feeling, and treats you with respect. He actually listens to you. I am an autistic woman with ADHD, PTSD, anxiety with oppositional defiant disorder — so it’s easy to piss me off. (unfortunately) He has never made me mad and/or feel uncomfortable or given me the ick (IYKYK) and I have been with the practice (and him) for years. He remembers your previous conversations and treats you and your concerns/fears/suspicions with respect. He shows grace, and is excellent at his job. I receive several (20-30) injections each quarter, and have never had a negative response. He has a gentle and skilled touch.
Lateness is not tolerated. Respecting his and his team’s time is a strict boundary. As a result, your time is also respected. I see him at Community East Hospital and I arrive early because the free parking garage is under construction and may cause delays or have 100 parking spots and you’ll never know which is true until you get there.
