Dr. Orellana Galvez grew up in Houston, TX and completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Houston. She received her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in California and completed her residency training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During residency, Dr. Orellana Galvez received comprehensive clinical and surgical training in a wide range of foot and ankle conditions.

Her training included diverse healthcare settings such as academic institutions like UCLA, the county healthcare system at Olive View–UCLA Medical Center, the Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, and Kaiser Permanente.
Dr. Orellana Galvez returned to Texas to serve the Houston community and practiced in private practice for three years before joining StrideCare. She is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM). Her clinical interests include diabetic foot care, wound care, limb salvage, but she also treats common foot conditions such as ingrowing nails, bunions,
hammertoes, heel pain, etc.
She values a collaborative approach to care and believes in partnering with patients to develop a treatment plan. Dr. Orellana Galvez prioritizes patient education, ensuring her patients understand their diagnoses and treatment options. Her professional goal is to improve patients’ mobility and help keep them active for as long as possible.
In her free time, Dr. Orellana Galvez enjoys traveling with her husband, cooking, watching classic films, and going on long walks with their dog.
