I have had excellent response to surgery, 5 screws in ankle, I am 73 and am able to play 18 holes of golf 7 months post surgery

I was fifteen minutes uses early for my appointment,but they took me in right away. The assistant checked me in and I was sent for an xray. When Dr. Michaud entered he greeted me professionally and introduced himself. I congratulated him on bei g named as one of the top doctors in his field by his peers. He thanked me and said it was an honor. He questioned me about my condition,and gave me options for my treatment,explaining g the pros and cons of each. We agreed mutually on a treatment plan.I appreciated the fact that I was part of the decision making process. I was given a follow up appointment. I was ery pleased with my appointment and with my INCLUSION in it. I would highly recommend Dr

Dr. Michaud was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to listen to my concerns. He performed a thorough evaluation, clearly explained what he believed was causing my pain, and outlined a treatment plan that made sense. I left my appointment feeling confident that I was in good hands. I appreciate his thoughtful approach and would gladly recommend him to others.

“I injured my knee while running on the track while in college and had arthroscopic surgery on my knee. The surgery was done under spinal anesthesia and I was able to watch it. Ever since then, I knew I wanted to do orthopedics.”
Dr. Michaud was drawn to foot and ankle surgery because foot pain impacts daily life so severely.
“If you have a painful foot, it’s hard to do your job, it’s hard to play sports. If I can help somebody to get rid of that, then I’ve done a good thing for them.”

“The injuries that I like to treat are complicated reconstructive type procedures. I do ankle fusions and ankle replacements. I do deformities of the hind foot. And, I take care of complicated fractures of the ankle, the heel and the forefoot.”
