Took my 3-year-old for her very first eye exam and honestly wasn’t sure how it’d go but Dr. Lustig was amazing! Super informative, barely any wait time, and he just had this fun, easygoing way with her that made her actually want to follow along with the exam. She got through the whole thing with no meltdowns lol. You can tell he’s really great with little kids. Such a pleasant surprise for a first visit, definitely recommend him if you’ve got a young one who needs an eye exam.
The best pediatric doctor my child has ever had. He’s professional, engaging, eases the fear of children, explains everything in great detail.

We have been seeing doctor Lustig for the last 6 years since our daughter was 1 and we absolutely ADORE him. He has such a special way with children, making each appointment something that our daughter looks forward to, communicates his medical opinion to us clearly and has unlimited patience. He’s never once been short with us or rushed us out, even with our many questions, which is very atypical of a top doctor in NYC like him. We recommend Dr Lustig highly and wouldn’t let our daughter see any other eye doctor ever again!
