Dr. K provided a summary sheet of my office visit. At the top of the page, I was directed to STOP INSULIN!
As a type 1 diabetic of 40 years, I was shocked ! The administrative staff seemed to blame problems with their computers, even tho it may have been a mistake by the staff, to provide no empathy for the shock of such a statement should have been recognized, corrected, and an explained by Dr. Krichavski himself.
I have subsequently moved to Shelton CT in a senior’s living facility.
In the past few weeks, Dr. K has prescribed Olmesartan. I don’t recall him having explained that it was a blood pressure medication , nor did he speak with me about what I could do to improve things beyond taking Olmesartan. The last thing is that I have received two prescriptions for Olmesartan. One is for 40 MG tablets from CVS in Shelton and the other is for 20 MG. Which one should I be taking, and since they’ve been prescribed, do I just return one script and pay for that, or am I responsible?
