Dr Connell is so nice. I always feel good when I see him. He did my knee replacement. While I took a mild opioid and Tylenol, I generally experienced very little pain after surgery - way less than I had expected. He gave me a prescription for a stronger painkiller which I never used. I also found I was able to move around better and more quickly than I expected. The only person I know who felt so good after a knee replacement was another Connell patient who recommended him.

Dr. Connell is an exceptional surgeon. I would not consider any other doctor for important treatment or advice. He connects well and is a genuinely nice person. The time it takes to see him once in the office is a real concern. It seems that multiple patients are scheduled to overlap appointments. Or, the amount of time required to consult with him is underestimated. A long wait (up to 30 minutes) after x-rays or once in the examination room to see Dr. Connell is unreasonable. Bottom line? Great doctor, bring something to occupy your time.

I had my right knee replaced on May 2017 by an other Doctor in one of orthopedic center In DC area. My knee replacement did not go well from day one i could not convince any one i that office i was in pain for 24/7 i started seeking to fine who really could do second replacement DR Connell was recommended by one of my clients from first moment of our first visit he was confidence and knew what was wrong also what he needs to be done. Now after two months i am doing well with the knee no pain.

Dr. Connell is excellent. My only negative comment is that he sometimes gets behind in seeing patients so you have to wait.

Good exam and review of x-rays taken at WOSM DURING MY VISIT and recent MRI. Dr. Connell determined surgery wasn’t warranted for my knees and suggested an option for relieving my knee pain I wasn’t aware of. His assessment was very clear and helpful
