Abrupt. No bedside manner.Scared the crap out of me with his worse case scenario and I am lucky I got in. He can fix anything, EXCEPT my problem is my age, NOT the bad sprain. AVOID if you are not young and athletic..

We had agreed that a quarter zone injection was the appropriate treatment, and the assistant and Dr. DaSilva stepped out of the room. While the assistant returned immediately, Dr DaSilva did not return for approximately 35 minutes. When he returned, he apologized and explained that he had been making travel.Arrangements for the next day. Well, I appreciated the apology.I felt those personal matters could have waited until after my appointment. A cortisone injection takes only a few minutes, and it was frustrated to have my care delayed for 35 minutes. I respect Dr. DaSilva's tme, but I believe my time is equally important and should be respected as well. Completing my treatment first and then addressing personal matters would have demonstrated greater respect for my time and improved my overall experience as a patient.

He was very kind and took his time with the exam. He offered remedies to deal with the pain including a brace.

Manuel’s assistant had poor bedside manner. Made me feel like my issue wasn’t a concern and stated to me “his fingers have been numb for 35 years”. Lacked empathy!
