after a brutal 1 hour 30 minutes wait, probably due to shortage of staff and other unexpected delays, Doctor Assar spent a gracious amount of time explaining pacemakers and their replacement due to battery decline and suggested another device check in 6 months. So a satisfying visit overall.

Dr. Assar is great! I’ve seen four other cardiologists in the last two years and he was by far the best. He took plenty of time to answer all of my questions and explain his thoughts. I’m a very fit person so tests did not show typical signs of heart problems and so the other doctors didn’t take my symptoms seriously. Dr Assar did an angiogram and discovered that I needed a triple bypass asap. Another thing I appreciated is that he could have done stents, but was humble enough to know that that would not be the best long term solution and instead referred me to a cardiac surgeon. Too many doctors follow the old adage that if the only tool you have is a hammer everything looks like a nail. I highly recommend Dr Assar.
