Dr. Manoj Reddy is a graduate of the prestigious 6-year combined program at Pennsylvania State University and the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He completed a dual residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Reddy went on to complete 3 additional years of specialized training in a National Institutes of Health sponsored Nephrology fellowship at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston. While at Tufts University, Dr. Reddy also earned a master’s degree in Clinical Care Research. Having grown up in Waldorf, he was excited to return to serve his community and was fortunate enough to join Metropolitan Nephrology Associates in 2004. Dr. Reddy is an expert in the management of hypertension and all aspects of kidney disease. He has a particular interest in home dialysis therapies. Dr. Reddy serves as a director of a local dialysis facility that has received numerous awards and recognition for its high-quality performance. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology and has been recognized as a “Top Doctor” in Virginia Living, Northern Virginia, and Washingtonian Magazines. Dr. Reddy strongly believes that patient education and empowerment are the cornerstones to excellent care.

Dr. Reddy took the time to listen and answer my questions.
I felt more relaxed in speaking with Dr Reddy on my visit yesterday. I had only had two visits with him before. I was referred by Dr Steele a year ago, however my first visit was with Dr Reddy and most of my future visits was with Dr Shah.
I am so glad to have the opportunity to provide feedback on my visit to Dr. Reddy. Aside from being an excellent and knowledgeable specialist, Dr. Reddy is also a kind and caring doctor. He is super proficient at reviewing the patient's history and providing the patient with an accurate diagnosis and recccomendations on how to improve or maintain the patient's health status. He listens to the patient's concerns and questions, and thoroughly addresses them. By the end of my visit, Dr. Reddy calmed my fears and made feel like a valued patient and person. Thank you so much Dr. Reddy.
Dr. Reddy is a patient doctor who is thorough and concerned with patients well-being. He is about getting to the bottom of what now happening and going back to the last time you were in his office.
