Manish Shah, M.D., is a native of Dallas, Texas. He completed his undergraduate training in 1991 at the University of Texas at Austin. He completed his general surgical training and urology residency at The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2001. Dr. Shah is the former President of the Alabama Urological Society. His areas of special interest include general urology, management of urological stone disease, management of erectile dysfunction and male incontinence, and the management of urological cancer, including kidney, bladder, prostate, and testicular cancers. He is certified in robotic surgery and in the use of holmium and CO2 lasers. He is an active member of the American Urological Association.
Dr. Shah and his wife, Rhonda, have two children. Dr. Shah’s personal interests include golf, skiing, football, whitewater rafting, softball, fishing, music, travel, and carpentry.
