Manijeh Kamyar, MD

Dr. Manijeh Kamyar, M.D., is a double board-certified specialist in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynecology. Driven by a lifelong love for women’s healthcare, she finds her greatest reward in using her expertise to heal and support families during the most significant moments of their lives.

A native of California, Dr. Kamyar earned her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, followed by a residency at the University of Southern California (USC). She then completed a specialized fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Utah. Dr. Kamyar is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to effectively serve a diverse patient population.

Dr. Kamyar is widely recognized for her ability to simplify complex medical information. She believes that thorough counseling is the cornerstone of high-risk care. Her approach focuses on:
- Patient Counseling: Taking the necessary time to ensure families understand ultrasound findings, diagnoses, and treatment options.
- Empowerment through Education: Turning a potentially "scary" high-risk diagnosis into a positive, manageable experience through clear communication.
- Evidence-Based Care: Staying at the forefront of the most recent research and clinical practice changes to provide the most advanced interventions.

Her ultimate goal is to ensure that every high-risk situation results in a healthy mother and a healthy baby. She works collaboratively with the team at the High Risk Pregnancy Center to set the highest standard for maternal and fetal wellness.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Kamyar is an avid outdoorswoman who enjoys skiing and hiking. She also values quiet moments spent reading and treasures time with her family.
