He earned his undergraduate degree in biology and psychology from Rutgers University. He then completed his medical degree at Medical University of the Americas, located in St. Kitts & Nevis, West Indies.
Dr. Chandi spent his transitional year residency in Internal Medicine at Hackensack Meridian Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen, NJ, before completing his four-year residency in Internal Medicine at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Following his residency, he completed his fellowship in sleep medicine at Ocean University Medical Center in Brick, NJ.
His areas of clinical interest include preventative medicine, hypertension, asthma, diabetes, sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, REM behavioral disorder, circadian rhythm disorders, and restless leg syndrome. Dr. Chandi is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the American Thoracic Society.
