A native of Nebraska, Dr. Ripa earned her undergraduate and medical degree from St. Louis University in Missouri. Dr. Ripa completed a one-year internship in internal medicine at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis and a three-year residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. She completed her formal medical training with a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Ripa is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is licensed to practice medicine in Nebraska and Iowa.

Dr Ripa is kind and caring. She does a thorough exam and explains everything well. I would recommend her to you if you are in need of a doctor.
Spent about 40 minutes alone in the exam room between the helper and Dr coming in. Didn't even do a vision examination to see if my vision changed.

I’ve only seen Dr Ripa twice but I feel she’s a very good Dr and very nice. I just don’t like the wait times. The first visit I waited 40 minutes past my scheduled time to get called back. This last visit I had a bit of a wait also. Maybe it’s due to the clinical staff. But I think a patient should be called in no latest than 10 minutes past your appt time.
