The assistant doing the initial exam was very rushed and thus a bit clumsy. Had issues trying to adjust the machine and hit me on the side of the head with it and said nothing. No patient interaction unless I ask her a question. It was the end of the day and I think she just wanted out of there soonest.

Dr Ripa has been amazing. My son has had a very scary eye injury that got infected and eventually led to the need for a corneal transplant. Throughout it all, Dr Ripa has been very thorough in her explanations of what was going on, what to expect and how we needed to proceed. She has always been open and honest about how serious this is, yet confident about her abilities and positive about the outcome. She is a skilled surgeon and despite a very scary and stressful situation, we have always felt like we were in the best hands with Dr Ripa.
