I was referred to Dr. Mitchell Scott Klavans by my previous Urologist and my current General Practitioner. My first visit went well. He was able to take my lab work immediately in his office and prescribe a comprehensive course of action.

Dr. M. Scott Klavans has served as Chairman of the Department of Surgery and has been President of the Medical Staff at Morton Plant Hospital. He has served on multiple committees at the hospital throughout the years. He has been credited with numerous publications. Dr Klavans was instrumental in bringing Robotic Surgery to Pinellas County and performed the first robotic prostatectomy in the county. As of 2024, he has performed over 2,000 robotic prostatectomies (daVinci Surgical System) and is the Co- Chairman of the Robotics Committee for the Morton Plant Health Care System.
