The reviews listed below were collected independently of Florida Cardiovascular Partners through rater8. Each review represents an authentic and verified patient experience.
Dr.Rizwi has been Cardiologist for the past 10 years, and I truly cannot speak highly enough of the care he provides. He takes a genuine personal interest in his patient’s health, consistently scheduling the appropriate tests throughout the year to monitor any changes. His proactive approach has quite literally saved my life— twice. On 2 separate occasions, 2 years apart, he strongly urged that I postpone me taking extended trips to the Far East. While those decisions disrupted my travel plans, they led to timely hospitalizations where stents were placed to address arterial blockages exceeding 90%.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Rizwi overseeing my care. He is never rushed, always takes the time to listen, and ensures that every concern is fully addressed with patience and professionalism.

Dr. Rizwi pursued fellowship training in Cardiovascular Diseases at Mount Sinai and Milwaukee Heart Institute in Milwaukee. His growing interest in the rapidly evolving field of cardiovascular medicine led him to complete additional fellowship training in Cardiovascular Diseases at Mount Sinai Medical Center and the Milwaukee Heart Institute in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
He later established his cardiology practice in Sebastian, Florida, where he served as Chairman of the Cardiopulmonary Division and subsequently Chairman of the Department of Medicine. Dr. Rizwi was elected Chief of Medical Staff at Sebastian River Medical Center, a role he held for eight years.
Dr. Rizwi was the first cardiologist in Indian River and surrounding counties to administer thrombolytic (“clot-buster”) therapy with streptokinase for heart attack patients on an experimental basis, with informed patient consent, prior to FDA approval. This pioneering work helped save lives and reduce long-term heart damage.
Dr. Rizwi is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He has joined Stuart Cardiology, now Florida Cardiovascular Partners, where he utilizes the latest state-of-the-art cardiac diagnostic technology.
