He also ordered up some additional testing to help rectify my medical situation, as well as took me under his direct care for future appointments. He is interested in what you have to say and listens well. Professional and friendly.

Rarely made eye contact because he was consumed with reading the computer, when I told him about a problem he didn’t have any solutions, and then he said he’d be doing the procedure but later the scheduling person he wouldn’t be. It was basically a waste of time.

Dr. Kowalczyk was very thorough yet efficient in his professionalism during my colonoscopy. He was concise in his bedside manner comments yet friendly. I would not hesitate to have other procedures performed by him.

I appreciated Dr. Kowalczyk’s thorough questions to determine the contribution of my stomach problem. Additionally, he was very honest in his assessment and helped me to see what I could be doing to improve my acid reflex. He did reassure me that if after I’ve tried his recommendation, to call him and further investigate treatment. Certainly, prefer this method than pushing pills to mask the symptoms.

This man possesses incredibly, infectious, positive energy. Lets face it, probably not a ton of folks looking forward to their colonoscopy...until you walk through the doors and meet Dr. Kowalczyk. The visit, procedure, report, information were great. I thank you.

I met Dr. K for the first time just a few minutes before the scheduled start time of my “Double Scope” procedure early in the morning in the patient prep room at Penrose Hospital. I am an older man and was considered a slightly higher risk patient for the procedure. Dr. K took the time to explain the procedures to me, go over my concerns and address my questions. He was both personable and professional. From that point, I was relaxed and confident knowing I was in good hands. All turned out fine.

He was very polite, sincere, caring and professional. Made the experience as pleasant as possible.

Dr K listened attentively. He was concerned about my symptoms and intent upon helping me. I was impressed by his concern, knowledge and professional demeanor! I was very grateful to have been referred to him. His nurses and assistants were great! The front desk personnel were not so friendly. I had gotten lost on my way to the appt, I am from out of town. I arrived 10 min late. Was told I would have to reschedule. I had waited mo to be seen. I was upset. Stated I was not familiar with area and missed the street I should have taken. I was not negligent, just had difficulty finding location. They finally checked with Dr. K’s assistants to determine if I could be seen regardless of my late arrival. Dr K’s assistants were very accommodating. I feel all staff, especially Dr K are the best! Can’t say the same for front desk personnel. They were not understanding of my unintentional situation.
