Amanda was pleasant and professional. Dr Anaya is always kind and professional, he always answers all my questions and concerns. He always has a plan for my best interest. Unfortunately I saw something that did not have to do with my appt. While I sat in the waiting lobby A, a bald man nurse with glasses came and called a male patient who was in a wheelchair, the patient was clearly struggling to push himself and this employee did not bother to push the patient. This was sad to see and was not 'como familia".

Dr Anaya explained every step of my treatment plan clearly. He listened carefully and answered all my questions and made me feel at ease throughout my visit.

I really like Dr.Anaya he is very knowledgeable and professional ,He sits down to speak with me he does not rush me.
I don’t feel like I’m on a timer most doctors are on a timer and they don’t listen. They just rushed through.

Dr. Luis Anaya Hoyos has been with Gonzaba Medical Group since 2013. He joined Gonzaba because he wanted the chance to serve a community that is largely affected by endocrine disorders such as Diabetes Mellitus.Dr. Anaya earned his medical degree from Universidad CES in Colombia. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology Fellowship at University Health System and the Veteran’s Administration (VA) hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Anaya’s memberships and affiliations include the Endocrine Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE), and the American Thyroid Association (ATA).
Dr. Anaya speaks Spanish and English.
He enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, and reading.
