Dr. Louis Bojrab has been a practicing pain specialist since 2000 when he completed his fellowship at Lake Forest University. In private practice his focus has been on careful evaluation and diagnosis of each patient, employing a multidisciplinary approach to solving painful conditions. He has a special interest in new technology including kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, endoscopic discectomy of the lumbar and cervical spine, Spinal Cord Stimulation, Discography, and cancer pain pumps. Staying at the cutting edge allows his patients to get new technology far before it is obtainable to the entire country.
Dr. Bojrab was the first pain specialist in Michigan to perform a percutaneous discectomy in the lumbar spine, and has hosted the first course in Michigan for Percutaneous Discectomy of the cervical spine. He was also the first pain specialist in Michigan to perform LASER discectomy of the spine. Dr. Bojrab has also held the office for Pain Chairman for the Michigan Society of Anesthesiologists. He is the past Vice President of the Michigan Chapter of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He is a national instructor for the ASIPP to teach spine procedures to other pain physicians around the USA. He has been an instructor for St. Jude Medical to teach advanced Spinal Cord Stimulation to other physicians nationally. He is the principal investigator (PI) for Boston Scientific's RELIEF study to research outcomes of Spinal Cord Stimulation.
Of all his awards, research, and professor titles, what he really enjoys is making relationships with his patients. Therefore, he understands his patients' issues and can get the best possible outcome for each individual.

It took me years to find Dr. Bojrab, It's been about 12 years now and I continue to see him. Dr. Bojrab is the most caring, motivated, and inspiring doctor. I barely walked into his office the first day of seeing him. Today, I walk without any help from a wheelchair or walking stick. I had never thought I'd be without at least my walking stick, but I am here today to tell you that I can walk without help. An amazing feat for both of us. Without doc Bojrab on my side I'd still be in severe pain without any quality to life. Thank you Dr. Bojab from the bottom to the top of my heart!
