I needed a shot this visit for bleeding. I wish there something I could take prior to make me relax more. I am not a very good candidate for eye injections at all. I do not even do well when they take the eye pressure. I wish Dr Rao could go slower and maybe explain what he is about to do because it is extremely scary for something to be put in your whether it is betadine or the injection.i do feel bad that I cannot just sit there and open wide, but it is very stressful. Dr Rao does that understand me. And does know it is hard for me. I just wish there was something more to calm my nerves or put me out for 5 minutes.

I got a same-day emergency appointment today, and also received excellent treatment from Dr. Rao. He provided an excellent diagnosis of macular edema and corneal edema, following my cataract surgery, and he also located a small retinal tear and corrected it SAME DAY with laser surgery. Unfortunately when I called Dr Pajka office re: the cataract surgery my husband has to go in for a consultation even though Dr. Rao did & then they'll have to schedule the surgery & it could start at $1,900. They were the ones that sent me to you guys so now I'm paying for another consultation. The receptionist was not nearly as pleasant as the girls at your office. Dr. Llewelyn J. Rao, M.D. received his BA degree and MD degree with distinction in research from St. Louis University in Missouri. His ophthalmology residency was at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, and his vitreoretinal fellowship was at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in New York City.
