Dr. Plisic has been at County Ob/Gyn since 1990. She attended the Sophie Davis School for Bio-Medical Education and graduated from New York Medical College in 1984. She completed her residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City in 1988 and worked for Community Health Care Plan before coming to work at our practice. A certified physician with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology which is re-certified annually, Dr. Plisic is also a Fellow with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
In addition to her certifications, Dr. Plisic is an Attending Physician at Yale-New Haven Hospital and an Associate Professor at the Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Plisic is also a member of the Connecticut Medical Society, the New Haven Obstetrical Society, and she is the Director of Ultrasound at County Ob/Gyn.
Dr. Plisic has been named a “Top Doc” in Connecticut Magazine each year since 2013. She was also the winner of the 2007 Temple/Women’s Surgical Award for Teaching. She is additionally interested in Complementary Medicine as well as menopause/perimenopause. Dr. Plisic is also certified in traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. A proud mother of one, Dr. Plisic enjoys traveling and relaxing near the Connecticut shoreline where she resides.

She is a wonderful doctor. She cares and asks questions and treats you like you matter. Wants to hear if you have any issues that need to be addressed during your visit. Always responsive .
