She then went on to Barry University where she completed her education, becoming a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Her training brought her to CO and PA, where she graduated from her surgical residency near Philadelphia. She treats all types of foot and ankle conditions and, although surgically trained, has hung up her surgical boots and prefers practicing clinical Podiatry.

Dr. Lisa Thatcher, D.P.M., brings experience and a passion for making sure that her patients do not have to live with foot or ankle pain. She feels strongly that the betterment of health care is an asset to the medical community.
Dr. Thatcher grew up in FL and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Rollins College. She then went on to Barry University, where she completed her education, becoming a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Her training brought her to CO and PA, where she graduated from her surgical residency near Philadelphia. She has been practicing in her home state of MN for the past five years, but after craving to be back in the South, she has moved back to continue her care in GA.
She treats all types of foot and ankle conditions and, although surgically trained, has hung up her surgical boots and prefers practicing clinical Podiatry. Her philosophy in patient care has always been simple: treating patients like family. She feels that everyone deserves to not only be treated by well-educated doctors, but by ones that truly care. Dr. Thatcher is an artist and an avid CrossFitter. She enjoys hiking, traveling, and being outdoors with her husband.

Love Dr. Thatcher and her staff. Very clean office. Warm reception upon arrival with very minimal wait time and smooth check-in process. Courteous and professional. Dr. Thatcher has excellent bedside manners. I would recommend her to anyone that needs Podiatry care. A++++
