Lisa R. Blackrick, MD

Dr. Lisa R. Blackrick, M.D. is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in orthopaedic traumatology and fracture care. She completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at Denison University in Granville, OH. She earned a Master of Science degree in Anatomy and received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University, School of Medicine. After medical school, she completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburg, PA. She went on to complete a fellowship in orthopaedic traumatology at MetroHealth Medical Center at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Cleveland, OH.

Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Blackrick is associated with various medical organizations and holds memberships in national and international speciality societies. Academically, she serves as AO Faculty on the national and international level, teaching a basic fracture course and she has served on a number of hospital and university committees. She is the lead author of a textbook chapter on nonunion treatment and she plans to continue her research interests through the Hughston Foundation, Inc.
