Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Mehls earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. She went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, where she gained extensive experience in prenatal care, labor and delivery, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and preventive women’s health services.
Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), Dr. Mehls is committed to delivering evidence-based care for women at every stage of life, from adolescence and family planning to menopause management.
In 2018, Dr. Mehls relocated to southwest Georgia, where she has built a strong connection with the local community. She is passionate about fostering trust with her patients, ensuring they feel informed and empowered in their healthcare decisions.
