Dr. Linda Hogan, O.D. attended William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ. While attending WPU she was on the Dean’s List and was awarded a membership in the Beta Beta Beta Biology National Honor Society. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree and a minor in psychology in May 2000.
While in college, Dr. Hogan worked as an ophthalmic technician at The Eye Institute alongside Drs. Mishler and Robert Gollance. It was her time here at The Eye Institute that inspired Dr. Hogan to pursue a career in optometry. Following graduation, Dr. Hogan attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, Pa. While at PCO, she received extensive training with the doctors at Omni Eye Services and the Veterans Hospital in Lyons, NJ. Dr. Hogan also did an internship in vision therapy with Dr. Press at Family Eyecare Associates in Fair Lawn, NJ, and an externship in pediatrics at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia.
Dr. Hogan was invited to join the distinguished Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society and graduated with clinical honors in May 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Visual Science and a Doctor of Optometry degree. Since graduation, Dr. Hogan has worked in a variety of clinical settings. In addition to primary care optometry, Dr. Hogan also has extensive knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of various ocular diseases, such as glaucoma and macular degeneration.
Dr. Hogan enjoys spending time with her husband and two children in her spare time.
