I arrived for my 2:00 appointment at 1:45 and checked in. I waited until the waiting room emptied and when I inquired with front desk, I was told they could find no record of an appointment, but that they could work me in, anyway. When I was called in to Dr Tan, after a two hour wait at 3:45, I was told that I did have an appointment after all! my BD was very high when checked! No one acknowledged my concern and excuses were made by Dr. Yan, with no apology. I felt sad, angry and VERY devalued as a patient/customer ! I considered changing cardiologists and only decided against this as an example of “self-defeating” behavior on my part, Which I try to avoid. As a masters level Psychogist and a seminar leader of “customer service”, all over the world, I generally do not tolerate such treatment. I hope someone notes this! The only redeeming aspect act was a big hug by “Labecca” who encouraged me to calm down!
