Liliya Velet, M.D.

Dr. Liliya Velet, M.D., is a urologist specializing in female pelvic medicine and reconstruction, robotic surgery, and comprehensive men's health. She provides advanced medical and surgical treatments for genitourinary disorders, incontinence, and male reproductive conditions.

Dr. Velet completed her undergraduate education at Cleveland State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude and receiving the Outstanding Senior Award. She earned her Medical Degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society during her junior year. Dr. Velet then completed her residency training in urology at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. During her residency, she received the First Place Presentation in Basic Science at the NCUA meeting in 2018 and the First Place Research Award in Basic Science at the Wake Forest University Surgical Sciences Research Day in 2018.

Dr. Velet holds professional memberships in the American Urological Association, the Southeastern Section of the American Urological Association, the American Medical Association, and the American Urogynecologic Society.

Her clinical practice centers on female pelvic medicine and reconstruction, with a focus on treating overactive bladder as well as both female and male incontinence. She utilizes robotic surgery and endoscopic surgery to manage conditions such as kidney stones. Dr. Velet also provides medical, minimally invasive, and surgical treatments for an enlarged prostate, performs no-scalpel vasectomies, and manages men's sexual health conditions, including erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, and penile implant surgery.
