Dr. Lexy Cochran, DO is a compassionate Obstetrician and Gynecologist dedicated to providing personalized, patient-centered care for women throughout every stage of life. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her patients and partnering with them to achieve their health and wellness goals.
Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Dr. Cochran's passion for healthcare began at just 16 years old when she became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and worked in nursing homes caring for patients. Those early experiences shaped her commitment to helping others and inspired her journey into medicine.
Dr. Cochran earned her undergraduate degree from Newman University before receiving her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine. During medical school, she discovered her love for Obstetrics and Gynecology, drawn to the specialty's unique combination of surgical care, women's health, and the opportunity to develop long-term patient relationships.
She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at TriHealth in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she served as Chief Resident, demonstrating her leadership, clinical excellence, and dedication to advancing women's healthcare. Dr. Cochran provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services, including preventive women's health, pregnancy care, family planning, contraception counseling, and treatment for gynecologic conditions.
Dr. Cochran believes every patient deserves compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to their individual needs. She values open communication, patient education, and shared decision-making, ensuring women feel informed, empowered, and confident throughout their healthcare journey.
Excited to call Phoenix home, Dr. Cochran looks forward to caring for women and families throughout the Valley while embracing Arizona's sunshine and vibrant community.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending time by the pool, trying new restaurants, golfing, and making memories with family and friends.
